The combatants are exulting in a atrocity that relief organizations suspect claimed the lives of over 2,000 people in the African urban center of el-Fasher in recent weeks.

A City Isolated from the Globe

Having held the community under encirclement for nearly 24 months, from August the RSF proceeded to consolidate its dominance and restrict the surviving residents.
